Senior Associate, Surveys - Financial Services

Position Overview:

The Survey Team is responsible for delivering end-to-end survey projects across various industry verticals, population geographies, and client types. We manage the execution of hundreds of survey projects every month. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), an analytical mindset, and a passion for creative problem-solving, client service, and project management.

Position Summary:

GLG is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Survey Senior Associate to join the US-based Survey Team, part of our Global Financial Services Survey group. In this role, you will collaborate with GLG’s Client Solutions and Business Development teams, as well as our sophisticated client base, focusing on top-tier financial services firms.

The Survey Senior Associate will be responsible for designing and executing surveys that help clients qualify and quantify industry/market trends. These surveys will focus on commercial assessments, voice-of-customer research, benchmarking analysis, and consumer profiling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate customized surveys focused on specialized topics and populations.

  • Compile survey data into comprehensive reports for clients.

  • Navigate complex survey requests with client-specific preferences and requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in market research and survey design, including experience with online survey platforms.

  • Collaboration: Experience working in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-service environment, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple survey projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on client needs and urgency.

  • Analytical Skills: Experience analyzing survey results and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven research experience.

  • Familiarity with survey design, including questionnaire writing and programming (experience with tools such as Decipher, Qualtrics, etc. is a plus).

  • Experience with statistical techniques.

  • Superior writing, logical thinking, and interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rigorous environment.

  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Full business proficiency in English.

Career Progression:

After 12-24 months of consistent high-quality performance, including successful end-to-end project delivery and relationship management, Senior Survey Associates typically advance to roles such as Survey Project Specialist or Manager, where they manage their own book of business, foster client relationships, and take on increased responsibilities in account management.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

 

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$60,360$70,000 USD
